We recently had the privilege of working on a remarkable siding project in Bellingham, WA, where we not only replaced the siding and windows but also tackled a significant amount of rot hidden beneath the old wood shingles. This particular homeowner wanted to keep the victorian era style of her home, so we landed on purchasing special order Allura half scalloped shingles.

Addressing the Rot

One of the discoveries we encountered during this project was a substantial amount of rot hidden beneath the pre-existing wood shingles. Rot not only compromises the structural integrity of a home but can also lead to more extensive and expensive repairs if left unattended.
